SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The No. 15 USC women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw on the road at Utah Thursday night.
USC moves to 9-2-2 overall and 5-1-1 in Pac-12 play. Utah moves to 6-5-4, 2-3-2. It is the sixth shutout of the year for the USC defense.
The Trojans had their best chance of the night in the 83rd minute when a shot off a corner by Brandi Peterson was saved off the line by a Utah defender.
The Trojans outshot Utah 7-6 in the game and had a 3-2 advantage on corners. It is the fourth time in the last eight years that the two teams have drawn against each other. USC is now 1-3-4 all-time in Salt Lake City.
