Cats Close Fall Out at Isleworth Collegiate

WINDERMERE, Fla. – Arizona Men's Golf will tee off in its final tournament of the Fall at the Isleworth Collegiate in Florida, beginning on Sunday, Oct. 23. The three-day event at Isleworth Country Club comes on the heels of the Wildcats' runner-up finish in their last tournament, the Folds of Honor Collegiate in Michigan.

"We've had a great Fall of golf, and our team has put in the work to develop their games," said head coach Jim Anderson. "The environment at the Isleworth Collegiate is top notch and presents another opportunity for our team to grow. I am excited to watch our lineup compete and cap our fall season with another strong showing."

The week marks Arizona's first trip to the sunshine state since participating in NCAA Regionals in Kissimmee, Florida in 2018. The Wildcats will field a lineup consisting of seniors Chaz Aurilia and Chase Sienkiewicz alongside junior Sam Sommerhauser. The freshman tandem of Zach Pollo and Filip Jakubcik will round out the Arizona's five golfers on the trip.

In its runner-up finish at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, Arizona received top-10 finishes from Sienkiewicz and Jakubcik. Sienkiewicz also set an American Dunes course record with a final-round 67 in the event.

The Wildcats, ranked 24th in GolfStat's national rankings, are part of deep field in Florida that also includes. No. 3 Auburn, No. 9 Illinois and No. 11 Florida.
