Trio Lands on Preseason All-Pac-12 Team

Oct 24, 2022

SAN FRANCISCO – A trio of Oregon Ducks was voted to the Pac-12 preseason all-conference team, as Te-Hina Paopao, Sedona Prince and Endyia Rogers each earned a spot on the 15-player team following a vote by media who cover the league.
The Ducks, who equaled Arizona for the highest number of representatives on the preseason squad, have had multiple players voted to the preseason All-Pac-12 team in each of the last six seasons, including three or more for the second consecutive year. Prince collects her third straight preseason honor while Paopao and Rogers were both named to the team for the second season in a row.
Paopao was named to the preseason watch list for the Nancy Lieberman Award honoring the nation's top point guard and has been an all-Pac-12 selection in each of her first two seasons at Oregon. In her sophomore season in 2021-22, she averaged 13.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game and scored in double figures 16 times in 23 outings.
Prince led the Ducks and ranked fourth in the conference with her 54.2 shooting percentage from the field. She also ranked second on the team in rebounding (4.9 per game) and blocks (1.3 per game) while finishing fourth in scoring at 9.3 points a game. The 6-foot-7 product of Liberty Hill, Texas, was selected to the Lisa Leslie Award watch list, handed out to the nation's top center.
Rogers enters her second season at Oregon after starting two seasons at USC. The 5-foot-7 senior is the team's top returning scorer at 14.3 points per game while she also handed out 3.1 assists a game to go with 4.2 boards a contest. Rogers led the Ducks in scoring in eight times a season ago, including six of the last 13 games to end the season.
The Ducks are coming off a 20-12 campaign (11-6 Pac-12) in which they earned their fifth straight NCAA Tournament bid. Under ninth-year head coach Kelly Graves, UO has made four Sweet Sixteen appearances and the program's first Final Four in 2019.
Oregon opens its exhibition slate with a home matchup against Carroll College on Friday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. PT. The 2022-23 season opener is set for a 3 p.m. start on Monday, Nov. 7 against Northwestern at Matthew Knight Arena.
