MVB Opens Pre-Season with Exhibition Matches

The UCLA men's volleyball team won four out of five matches in its initial preseason competition on Saturday at the 2022 USC Men's Volleyball Fall Tournament. The Bruins defeated teams from Stanford, USC, UC San Diego and Vanguard. UCLA dropped its lone match to UC Irvine in three sets.

UCLA d. Stanford 2-0 25-20, 25-23 (played a non-counting third set and the Bruins won 15-12)
UCLA d. USC 23-25, 25-17, 15-11
UCLA d. UC San Diego 25-21, 25-21
UC Irvine d. UCLA 25-23, 19-25, 17-15
UCLA d. Vanguard 25-21, 25-12
 
On Nov. 18-19, UCLA will host its annual SAC Invitational in the Student Activities Center (SAC) Gym on campus. Big West teams from UC Santa Barbara and CSUN will compete along with Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) squads from USC and UCLA. The gym is located on the third floor of the building and there is no admission charge. The playing schedule will be announced soon.
