USC Men’s Volleyball Has Mixed Results At USC Fall Tournament

LOS ANGELES--The USC men's volleyball team split into two squads and competed with mixed results in the 2022 USC Fall Tournament on Saturday (Oct. 29) in the Galen Center Pavilion 

The USC Gold team fell to Cal State Northridge 15-25, 22-25, but defeated St. Katherine 25-11, 25-11 and UC San Diego 26-24, 25-23. 

The USC Cardinal squad lost to UCLA 25-23, 17-25, 11-15 and UCI 23-25, 22-25, but beat Vanguard 22-25, 25-18, 15-6. 

Nine teams competed in the tourney: USC and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opponents Stanford and UCLA, plus non-conference foes UC Irvine, UC San Diego, Cal State Northridge, Vanguard, Masters and Saint Katherine. 

USC will conclude its fall schedule by participating in the UCLA SAC Invitational on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 18-19).
