Hisey, Baytosh Named to All-Conference Teams

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Senior goalkeeper Hope Hisey and freshman midfielder Sami Baytosh have garnered All-Pac-12 honors for the 2022 season, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Hisey was named to the All-Pac-12 Third Team while Baytosh was placed on the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team

Hisey comes off a standout 2022 season in which she totaled 61 saves and six shutouts. With her six shutouts, she has totaled 20 on her career to rank second in program history in career shutouts. She additionally checks in at fourth in program history in career saves with 289. The senior was named Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week on three occasions, and she played al 1,620 minutes for the Wildcats in 2022.

Baytosh made appearances in all 18 of Arizona's matches in her initial season with the squad, making starts in 12 of them. She tallied eight points on the year, good for third-most on the team. Four of those points came from two goals, one of which was the game winner against UC Davis. She took 21 shots throughout the season, 10 of which were on goal.
