Bears Dive In At Trojan Diving Invitational

Sophomore Danielle Killeen and freshman Joshua Thai will represent the Golden Bears in Southern California this weekend.

BERKELEY – The Cal women's and men's diving teams take the stage this weekend when two Golden Bears will travel to Southern California for the annual Trojan Diving Invitational hosted by USC Friday through Sunday at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
From the women's side, the Bears will send sophomore Danielle Killeen. Representing the men will be freshman Joshua Thai.

Killeen is making her second appearance this season after competing in the 1-meter and 3-meter championship against Utah on Oct. 12. In that event she placed fifth in both events with a score of 192.90 in the 1-meter dive and 217.70 in the 3-meter dive.

Killeen will be competing in the 3-meter championship on Friday, platform on Saturday, and 1-meter dive on Sunday.

Thai, made his collegiate debut against Utah on Oct. 12. He took first in the 1-meter dive with a score of 294.55. He took fourth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 273.05.  

He will open the competition with the 1-meter championship on Friday, the 3-meter championship on Saturday, and the platform on Sunday.
