Washington Falls To Oregon State, 1-0

SEATTLE – The Washington men's soccer team fought hard but fell in a 1-0 decision in the regular season finale against Oregon State on Thursday night at Husky Soccer Stadium.
 
The Huskies finish the regular season with a record of 15-1-3 and a 7-1-2 marking in Pac-12 play.
 
Washington came out attacking early with eight shots in a scoreless first half. Over the first 45 minutes, the Huskies allowed one Oregon State shot.
 
Oregon State broke the scoreless streak in the 84th minute as David Perez sent in the game-winning goal from outside the box.
 
The Huskies had a chance to even the score in the final minutes, but Lucas Meek's header was saved by the Beaver goalie.
 
Kalani Kossa-Rienzi, Christian Soto, Jayson Baca and Meek registered a pair of shots during the match. Sam Fowler matched a season-high three saves on the night.
 
The Huskies await the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, Nov. 14. The show will air on NCAA.com beginning at 10 a.m. PT. Washington has already clinched a berth into the tournament as the Pac-12 regular season champions.
