NCAA Championships Selections Announcement

SAN FRANCISCO – Ten Pac-12 programs as well as one individual earned berths in the 2022 NCAA Cross Country Championships field unveiled on the NCAA selection show Saturday afternoon.

Stanford swept the men's and women's team titles at the NCAA West Regional Cross Country Championships for the 11th time and Oregon's women came in second to secure three of that region's four automatic qualifying spots on Friday.

Utah's women nabbed the first automatic berth in program history by virtue of their program-best second-place finish at the NCAA Mountain Regional, while fellow Mountain Regional competitor Colorado qualified both it's men's and Pac-12 champion women's programs via at-large selections.

The men and women of Washington both finished third in their West Regional races and earned at-large selections and the Oregon men also garnered an at-large pick after coming in fourth. Oregon State's women are in the field for the third time in program history following a fourth-place showing at the NCAA West Regional, the best performance in school history.

Oklahoma State University will host the championships, Saturday, Nov. 19, at The Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Okla., with the Pac-12 seeking to add to its national-best totals of 29 combined team crowns and 29 combined individual titles. The women’s race will begin at 10:20 a.m. ET/7:20 a.m. PT, followed by the men’s race at 11:10 a.m. ET/8:20 a.m. PT. Coverage of the championships will be available ESPNU and the ESPN app beginning at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT.
