Beavers Set to Host NCAA Games at No. 8 Seed
CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men's soccer team has been selected as the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host either Portland or UC Riverside on Sunday at Lorenz Field.
This mark's the Beavers' seventh appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and their fourth in Terry Boss' five years as head coach. Oregon State made its deepest run in the postseason last year, reaching the final eight of the Tournament.
Should Oregon State advance beyond Sunday, the Beavers would host a quarterfinal match at Lorenz Field on the weekend of Nov. 26-27.
OSU ended the regular season 7-3-6, with a 5-0-2 mark against teams ranked in the top-25. The Beavers are unbeaten in their last eight matches, and finished third in the Pac-12 – two points behind second-place Stanford – despite playing one fewer conference contest.
The Beavers will head into the postseason ranked No. 23 in the Top Drawer Soccer rankings.
Tickets for Sunday's contest are available here. The full NCAA Tournament bracket is available here.
