Nov 14, 2022

TEMPE, Ariz. - Sun Devil Men's Basketball signed a pair of four-star prospects that will join the roster for the 2023-24 season.

Guard Braelon Green and Forward Akil Watson make up the 2023 signing class as Head Coach Bobby Hurley continues to bring in talent to the program. The duo received a four-star rating and were tabbed as Top-100 prospects by at least one major national recruiting publication. Every one of Hurley's signing class has included a four-star prospect. According to 247 Sports, of the Top-25 highest-rated recruits to sign with Arizona State since 2000 (22 years), 15 have come under Hurley in the past eight classes.

"Akil and Braelon are both just quality kids and at one point super highly rated," Coach Hurley mentioned when asked about his class after the victory over NAU. "I think both will have a chip on the shoulder getting here. Both have great families, so that's a positive and they just bring different things to the table. Akil's a versatile forward and Braelon could play multiple positions in the guard spot, so we're super excited for those two guys."
