TUCSON, Ariz. - This week Arizona Men's and Women's Diving is traveling to Austin for a three-day competition hosted by Texas. The invite will begin Thursday, Nov. 17 and wrap up on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
The Cats attended the invitational last year and brought home five top ten finishes. Olympic silver medalist Delaney Schnell placed second in the 1 meter and platform dives, while taking fourth in the 3 meter event. Bjorn Markentin took ninth in the men's 1 meter and sixth in the platform event.
This time around, Arizona will be flanked by some of the best programs in the nation: Stanford, Texas A&M, LSU, Notre Dame, Utah and Texas.
