BERKELEY – The California men's soccer team saw three Golden Bears – Nonso Adimabua, Wyatt Meyer and Fahmi Ibrahim – claim All-Pac-12 Honors when the conference announced its annual awards this week.

The Pac-12 named Adimabua, a junior forward, and Meyer, a junior midfielder, to its second team and awarded Ibrahim, a senior forward, with honorable mention. These are the first All-Pac-12 honors for the three Golden Bears.

A product of Asaba, Nigeria, Adimabua ranked third at Cal in goals (2) and point (5) and had one assist in his first season in Berkeley. He scored the gamewinning goal in the Bears' 2-0 victory over San Diego State on Sept. 15 in Berkeley. Named to the United Soccer Coaches' list of Forwards to Watch prior to the season, the striker also drew plenty of defensive attention from opponents to open up space for his teammates.

Meyer, a Berkeley native, was one of the Golden Bears' ironmen, starting 16 games and ranking second on the team in minutes played (1,361) despite not playing in the season finale. Mainly a midfielder who also played somewhat on the backline, Meyer led Cal in assists with three. He set up a goal by Ibrahim vs. UC San Diego on Sept. 14, a goal from Adrian Guzman vs. SDSU on Sept. 15 and a goal by Shoei Honda on Oct. 15 vs. USF.

Ibrahim, from Alameda, led Cal in goals (7) and points (14) and also tied for third in the Pac-12 in goals and tied for seventh in the conference in points. He scored the gamewinner in the 81st minute of a 1-0 result over Saint Mary's on Sept. 25 in Berkeley. Ibrahim was a clutch goalscorer in his final season as a Bear, as five of his other goals were equalizers. He completed his Cal career with totals of 11 goals, one assist and 23 points.
