QUICKLY: The Beavers have opened the season 3-0 for the first time since 2018-19  ... Oregon State is looking to open the season with four-straight wins for the first time since 2015-16 ... The Beavers are 16-0 all-time against Portland State, and 12-0 in games played at Gill Coliseum ... This is the fourth-straight season OSU has played Portland State, with all of those matchup coming at Gill Coliseum ... Oregon State has won back-to-back games by 17 points, the first time the Beavers have won two consecutive contests by 17 or more since they took down Grambling and San Jose State by 22 and 35, respectively in November of 2019 ... Jordan Pope  is tied for seventh in the nation in points per game among true freshmen ... Michael Rataj is one of four players in the nation, and the only freshman, to have eight field goals made this season without a miss ... Glenn Taylor Jr. was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team last season ...  Taylor Jr. has matched or surpassed his previous career-high for scoring twice already this season ... Oregon State returns four players from last year's squad - Taylor, Dexter Akanno, Rodrigue Andela and Chol Marial. Of that group, Marial did not see action last season due to NCAA eligibility rules and Andela missed the bulk of the season due to injury ... Oregon State's squad features a total of 11 newcomers, eight of which are true freshmen ... The Beavers have announced the additions of signees Gavin Marrs and Thomas Ndong. Both will join Oregon State beginning in the 2023-24 season.

THE SCHEDULE: A look at Oregon State's 2022-23 schedule:
- Oregon State will play 11 nonconference games, seven of which will take place at Gill Coliseum and 10 of which will be played in the state of Oregon. 
- The Beavers will take part in the PK Legacy Tournament in Portland over Thanksgiving weekend. OSU will open the weekend with a matchup with Duke, and will play a total of three games in the event.
- Oregon State is scheduled to play conference games against Washington and USC during December. The Beavers will not play at UCLA or at home vs. Washington State this season.

THE TEAM: Here are some quick-hitters about the 2022-23 Oregon State men's basketball team:
- Oregon State has shot 50 percent from the floor or better in four of its last nine games.
- The Beavers opened the season with a 73-70 win over Tulsa, overcoming a 19-point deficit to take the win. OSU came back from 16 down at the break, the largest such comeback since Oregon State erased a 19-point lead against UNLV in 2005.
- Oregon State limited Florida A&M to 25.9 percent shooting in the first half on Friday.
- OSU held its opponents to 69.6 points per contest during the month of November last season.
- Oregon State has held opponents to 69.1 points per game during the Wayne Tinkle era, and 67.4 points per contest at Gill Coliseum over that span.
