Rowing Set to Close Fall Slate with Orange and Black Regatta

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The men's and women's rowing teams are set to close the Fall portion of their schedules hosting the annual Orange and Black Regatta on Saturday, November 19th starting at 10 a.m. at the Oregon State Rowing Center.

The scrimmage is a public event that brings alumni, families and community members together to support the student-athletes in their final race of the Fall season.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS:
10:00 a.m. – Welcome & Registration
10:30 a.m. – Racing Begins
12:00 p.m. – Alumni Row
1 p.m. – Boat dedication, team introduction and awards
1:30 p.m. – Post-event social

All boats will compete in three races, a two-mile head race and two one-mile side-by-side competitions. The finish line is at the rowing docks making it possible to watch competition from the OSU Boathouse. Points for each race will be added between the women's and men's teams to determine a winner. Team Orange had been the reigning champions since 2018, before a victory by Team Black a year ago ended the streak.
