Softball Reveals 2023 Schedule

Defending Pac-12 champion Arizona State enters a new era with the release of its 2023 schedule as announced by head coach Megan Bartlett and the Pac-12 Conference office.

The 2022 Pac-12 champions are scheduled for a 24-game conference slate, several strong non-conference matchups and 23 home games at Alberta B. Farrington Stadium. The schedule remains subject to change while game times and TV/Live Stream allocations will be released at a later date.

The deadline to lock-in season tickets at the early bird rate is December 1. Ticket group sales will begin the week of Jan. 9 and single game ticket sales including single session passes for tournaments will be available for purchase the week of January 16.

The Sun Devils open the 2023 campaign on February 9 at a three-day San Diego State Tournament featuring Bartlett's alma matter, Notre Dame. Coach Bartlett will coach her first home games February 16-19 for the annual Littlewood Classic. The 2023 Littlewood Classic will host the BYU, Illinois State, Portland State and Weber State.

The following weekend (Feb. 23-26) Arizona State will travel to the 19th annual Mary Nutter Classic hosted at the Big League Dreams complex in Cathedral City, CA.

Over three days, the Maroon and Gold are to play five games against Loyola Marymount, Bethune Cookman, Portland State, UC San Diego and Long Beach State. Fans have the opportunity to watch the whole weekend via FloSoftball. Fans also have the chance to make accommodations at local hotels and buy tickets for the 30-team non-conference tournament.

The Sun Devils return to Tempe March 3-5 for their joint tournament with Grand Canyon. ASU starts the tournament off with a doubleheader against New Mexico and Charlotte. Saturday, Farrington Stadium hosts another doubleheader featuring Michigan State and Boise State. The final day concludes with a game against Houston.

ASU dips into Pac-12 play March 10-12 as Farrington Stadium will be home to the annual Territorial Cup series against Arizona in 2023. The weekend of March 17-19 the Sun Devils round out their non-conference tournament schedule in Stillwater, OK, which is hosted by 2022 NCAA WCWS participant Oklahoma State. As March closes, the Sun Devils will spend time in Berkeley (March 24-26 at Cal) before hosting Washington (March 31-April 2).

Opening up the first week of April, the Sun Devils head to Salt Lake City to face the Utes before they come back to Tempe to play Grand Canyon on April 11, concluding their non-conference schedule.

In the final four weekends of Pac-12 play, ASU is hosting two home series with the Oregon Ducks on April 14-16 and Stanford Cardinal (April 28-30). The other two weekends, the Sun Devils play at UCLA (April 21-23) and at Oregon State (May 5-7).

The 2023 season includes the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament which is being hosted at Rita Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium in Tucson (May 10-13).

The Sun Devils will have a preseason Open House at Farrington Stadium where fans can buy tickets for the upcoming season in January with further details TBD.
