Offense

  • Utah's 63 points are the most for the team since scoring 73 against Southern Utah on Sept. 10, 2022. It is the 17th time under head coach Kyle Whittingham that the Utes have eclipsed the 50-point mark.
  • The point total also goes as the most for Utah in a Pac-12 Conference game since joining the league in 2011. It reset Utah's previous high in a Pac-12 game of 62 points at No. 13 Oregon on Sept. 26, 2015.
  • It is the most for a Pac-12 team in a conference game this season (previous high: 55 by USC against Colorado on Nov. 11).
  • The Utes have rushed for five touchdowns in three different games this season (vs. Southern Utah, vs. Arizona, at Colorado).
  • Utah's 662 total yards of offense tie for third-most in program history, alongside an Oct. 1, 1988 game at UTEP.
  • Utah eclipsed 600 total yards of offense for the first time since Sept. 7, 2013 vs. Weber State (628).
  • For road games only, today's game at Colorado and that UTEP game in 1988 tie a program record for total yards of offense (662). The overall program record is 703 yards, which came Oct. 15, 1988 against Air Force at Rice Stadium. Then on Oct. 16, 2004, the Utes had 669 total yards against North Carolina inside Rice-Eccles Stadium.
  • For the second time this season, Utah has a 100-yard rusher and receiver in the same game (Ja'Quinden Jackson, 117 rushing; Dalton Kincaid, 102 receiving). The last time this happened was on Sept. 3 at Florida (Tavion Thomas - 115 rushing; Brant Kuithe - 105 receiving).

Rising increased his career total to 5,167 yards, passing Mike Fouts (1995-96) for eighth all-time in Utah program history. It was Rising's 13th career 200-yard passing game.
  • Rising has 12 completions this season of 30-plus yards, including a 41-yard touchdown to tight end Dalton Kincaid on Saturday.
  • Rising now has won 17 games as Utah's starting quarterback, ranking sixth all-time.
