Jaydn Ott has been named to PFF's All-True Freshman team.

Cal rookie running back Jaydn Ott has been selected to the Pro Fooball Focus All-True Freshman team. Ott was one of 26 true freshmen selected nationally and one of two running backs along with Quinshon Jenkins of Ole Miss.

— Rushed for career highs of 274 yards and three touchdowns on a career-high 19 rushes against Arizona with his yards rushing the third-most overall by a Cal player and most ever in a game by a Cal and Pac-12 freshman, as well as the third-most in an FBS game through the 2022 regular season
— Had three games with multiple overall touchdowns and a pair of contests with two or more rushing touchdowns (3 rushing vs. Arizona; 1 rushing, 1 receiving vs. UNLV; 2 rushing at USC)
