MINNEAPOLIS – Junior Isabelle Stadden won the 200 backstroke as the No. 14 Cal women's swimming & diving team closed out the Minnesota Invitational on Saturday night.
Stadden picked up her second win of the invite after clocking in at 1:50.21 in the 200 back. She also swam the leadoff leg of the Bears' 400 freestyle relay team that finished in a tie for second with a time of 3:14.98. She teamed with Emma Davidson, Ella Mazurek and Eloise Riley to finish just under three seconds behind Texas.
The Bears had a pair of top-five finishes in the 200 butterfly as Rachel Klinker finished third in 1:54.44 and Leah Polonsky was fourth in 1:54.50. Sarah DiMeco placed fourth in the 1,650 freestyle with a mark of 16:17.97.
Cal is now off for the semester break before returning to dual meet action at San Jose State on Jan. 2.
