Top Pac-12 women’s gymnastics headlines an action-packed weekend across ESPN and Pac-12 Networks

SAN FRANCISCO - Top-25 women’s gymnastics clashes are on deck as the Pac-12 slate is in full swing this weekend across ESPN and Pac-12 Networks.
 
A total of seven Pac-12 teams are ranked in the latest top-25 Road to Nationals rankings, all of which are in action this weekend. No. 4 UCLA leads the way and is followed by No. 5 Utah, No. 6 California, No. 18 Oregon State, No. 19 Stanford, No. 20 Arizona State and No. 22 Washington.
 
PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS
 
  • No. 5 Utah hits the road to take on top-ranked Oklahoma on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT on ESPN.
    • The Utes began the 2023 campaign with a victory over then-No. 6 LSU behind a score of 197.275, which is the highest season-opening mark for Utah since 2005, and followed up with a first-place finish at the Rio Tinto Best of Utah this past weekend. Maile O’Keefe and Kara Eaker rank first and second, respectively, in the nation on beam, with Eaker earning a perfect 10 in last weekend’s victory.
    • Utah is set to appear on ESPN platforms three times this season as part of the network’s robust women’s gymnastics coverage. The Utes square off against UCLA in a highly-anticipated league battle on Friday, Feb. 3, airing on ESPN2.
       
  • Pac-12 Insider is home to No. 6 California at Arizona, which kicks off the weekend’s action on Friday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT.
    • The 6-0 Golden Bears are led by Andi Li, who ranks ninth in the country in the all-around and posted a 39.675 in the Wasatch Classic for Cal’s second quad meet win of the year.
    • Arizona scored a 195.725 in their home-opening victory last weekend. Malia Hargrove (floor and vault), Alysen Fears (bars) and Sirena Linton (beam) all won their respective event titles.
    • Pac-12 Insider is available on Pac-12.com as well as nine partner platforms, including Amazon Freevee, Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Tubi, Vizio, Xumo, Sportstribal, Redbox and Sling.
       
  • Pac-12 Network takes fans to a top-25 matchup on Saturday, Jan. 21 between No. 4 UCLA and No. 22 Washington, beginning at 2 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. MT.
    • UCLA’s Jordan Chiles and Selena Harris both rank in the top-ten nationally in the all-around, and the duo tied for first last weekend at the Wasatch Classic with scores of 39.725.
    • Saturday’s meet will be the home opener for the Huskies, who are coming off of back-to-back second-place finishes in quad meets to begin the season. Lana Navarro notched a 9.900 on floor in last weekend’s event, while Skylar Killough-Wilhelm and Olivia Oppegard each scored a 9.875 on unevens.
    • Pac-12 Networks will air 22 women’s gymnastics matchups this season, including the 2023 Pac-12 Women’s Gymnastics Championships, presented by Sprouts, on Saturday, March 18.
       
  • No. 20 Arizona State welcomes undefeated No. 19 Stanford to the Desert Financial Arena on Friday at 6 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT to begin league action.
    • The Sun Devils eclipsed the 196-point mark for the first time last weekend in a tri-meet win. Emily White won three event titles in vault, floor and all-around, and Hannah Scharf also took the floor title with White.
    • Stanford began 2023 with a quad meet victory at the Super 16, and followed up with a come-from-behind victory over San José State this past Saturday. Ira Alexeeva recorded a 9.850 in her collegiate debut on the beam and a 9.875 on bars after missing significant time as a freshman and sophomore due to injuries.
       
  • No. 18 Oregon State hosts the Beaver Quad Meet against Brown, No. 8 Denver and Sacramento State on Saturday at 1 p.m. PT / 2 p.m. MT.
    • Jade Carey posted two perfect 10s at the Wasatch Classic, becoming the first Beaver since 1993 to accomplish the feat. Carey’s performance earned her Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week honors for the fourth time in her young career.
