Pac-12 Tennis Players of the Week - March 14, 2023

MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Herman Hoeyeraal, Jr., Arizona (Oslo, Norway)

• Helped the Wildcats extend their win streak to four, securing a 4-0 sweep over #38 Oklahoma and a 6-1 win against #56 Tulsa.
• During his weekend doubles matches, Hoeyeraal secured doubles points against both opponents, going 6-1 against Oklahoma and 6-3 against Tulsa. 
• Hoeyraal picked up two single-match wins in straight sets, taking down Oklahoma’s #71 Nathan Han, 6-4, 6-1 and Tulsa’s Volodymyr Zakharov, 6-3, 6-4. 
• First Pac-12 Tennis Player of the Week award.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sasha Vagramov, Sr., UCLA (Port Moody, BC, Canada)

• Helped the Bruins to their first top-5 victory since Feb. 2021, taking down No. 4 Ohio State 4-3. 
• Secured the first and the final points for the Bruins, getting the match started and playing on the deciding court. 
• In her doubles match against Kolie Allen and Danielle Willson, Vagramov went 6-4 to secure the doubles point.
• In her singles match against Isabelle Boulais, she went 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 to secure the win. 
• First Pac-12 Tennis Player of the Week award.
