Beavs Head to Denver for 2023 NCAA Regionals

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The NCAA announced the regional gymnastics fields Monday and No. 11 Oregon State is the No.  3 seed in the Denver Regional. Oregon State will begin its run in the NCAA Regional Second Round on Friday, March 31 competing in the afternoon session at Magness Arena.

Teams ranked No. 1-16 were seeded, while the remaining 20 teams were placed in regions geographically. Competing against Oregon State in the afternoon semifinal on Friday, March 31 at 1 p.m. PT are No. 6 LSU, Georgia and Nebraska. Headed to Denver for the night session on Friday is No. 3 Michigan along with No. 13 and host Denver, Minnesota and the winner of the play-in between Arizona and North Carolina on Thursday.

The top two finishing teams of each semifinal will advance into the NCAA Regional Final on Sunday, April 2 at 4 p.m. PT. Following Sunday's competition, the top two finishers from the four regionals (Denver, Los Angeles, Norman and Pittsburgh) will advance to the 2023 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships in Fort Worth, Texas on Apr 13-15 at Dickies Arena.

Oregon State prepares for its 49th consecutive postseason, competing for its 30th national championship appearance in less than two weeks. The Beavers look to win their first regional title since the 2011 campaign that occurred in Corvallis.

The Beavers are coming off another historic regular season after clinching back-to-back shares of the Pac-12 Regular Season title, while scoring a program record 198.075 in a win at Stanford.

Oregon State posted a 197.200 on Saturday at the conference championship, finishing fourth on the night.

Carey was crowned the Pac-12 All-Around Champion for the second-straight season, while she also earned the Pac-12 title on floor and beam. Senior Madi Dagen was presented with the 2023 Women's Gymnastics Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year following the meet. Dagen is the first Beaver to earn the honor since Madeline Gardiner in 2017.
