LOS ANGELES, CA --Junior Tyler Stromsborg was mowing people down on Friday, striking out 10 Washington State hitters over seven innings of work to help lead the USC Trojans over the Cougars 13-3.

In addition to his 10 strikeouts, Stromsborg (2-1) went seven innings, giving up two runs, both of them earned, on four hits and walking one for USC (12-8-1, 5-2). Sophomore Fisher Johnson also made an impact on the mound for the Trojans, throwing one shutout inning while allowing no hits, with one walk and one strikeout.

Senior Nick Lopez led the way offensively for the Trojans, going 4-for-5 in the ballgame with a double and three RBI. Freshman Ethan Hedges put together a standout performance at the dish as well, going 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and four RBI. Senior Cole Gabrielson also chipped in, going 3-for-4 for USC with a double, a walk and an RBI.
