Utes Top Ducks

Mar 24, 2023

EUGENE, Ore.  – Oregon men's tennis started strong, but ultimately came up short against Utah on Friday.

Oregon got out to an early lead thanks to doubles victories from Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele, and Jesper Klov-Nilsson and Ivailo Keremedchiev, both by a score of 6-4.

With a one-zero lead, Oregon needed three singles victories to win the match. Utah quickly evened up the score after a 6-2, 6-2 win on court five. From there, the Utes would stay hot, winning the next three singles matches to clinch a 4-1 win.
