Track and Field Continues Home Meets with Rafer Johnson-Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational
LOS ANGELES – UCLA Track and Field continues its two-day home meet weekend with the Rafer Johnson-Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational on Saturday, Mar. 25, hosted at Drake Stadium on UCLA's campus.
The day begins with men's discus at 11:30 a.m. and other throwing events to follow; women's discus, and men's and women's shot put will occur after the conclusion of the previous event. Jumpers and vaulters get their chance to compete throughout the early afternoon.
Track events kick off with the women's 4x100m relay, followed by the men's event. Hurdlers and sprinters follow, and distance runners get their shot later in the afternoon. The meet will conclude with the 4x400m relays, which features indoor All-Americans for the Bruins on the women's side and All-American honorable mentions on the men's.
