OKLAHOMA CITY – The University of Utah softball team was scheduled to play its Women's College World Series opener on Thursday, but inclement weather forced their contest against the Washington Huskies to be postponed and the teams will now meet on Friday, with the first pitch to be thrown at 12 p.m. CT (11 a.m. MT).
The winner of the matchup between the Utes and Huskies will move on to play the winner of the Oklahoma State-Florida State game at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday, while the loser is scheduled to play on Friday at 8:30 p.m. CT.
