SAN FRANCISCO Pac-12 track & field programs are sending 136 entries to the upcoming NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held June 7-10 in Austin at the University of Texas.

The Conference is seeking its 48th all-time NCAA title on the mens side and first since Oregon repeated as national champions in 2014 and 2015. Pac-12 womens programs have won 10 NCAA outdoor titles all-time, with USC most recently securing the 2021 crown.

The championship meet is set to air on ESPN platforms throughout the week of competition. ESPN2 will provide television coverage each day while various event streams will air on ESPN+. Full broadcast information is available here .

Womens Championship Preview
The Pac-12 is set with 73 total entries on the womens side, including representation in all 21 events. The Conference boasts six teams in the USTFCCCA Top 25, led by No. 4 Oregon, the two-time defending Conference champions who boast a league-high 14 entries this week. The Ducks are tied with UCLA and USC atop the all-time team NCAA team titles list in the Pac-12 with three national championships apiece.

Pac-12 student-athletes enter the NCAA Meet with four national-leading marks and five marks atop the event results at the NCAA West Preliminary round.

USCs Allie Jones , the 2023 Pac-12 Womens Field Athlete of the Year, is top collegiate heptathlete this season and enters the National Meet with a season-best total of 6234 points set in her victory in the event at the Pac-12 Championships in May. It was a lifetime-best mark for Jones, who now sits third all-time in Pac-12 history in the heptathlon.

The Conference is well-represented with seven student-athletes in the womens 1500m, including the top five qualifiers from Prelims. Washingtons Sophie OSullivan leads the way as the nations top qualifier with a school-record time of 4:08.06. UCLAs Mia Barnett is second on the qualifying list with her time of 4:08.44 at West Prelims, the second-fastest time in program history in the event.

Pac-12 10,000m champion Emily Venters of Utah boasts the top time in the nation at 31:48.35, set back in March at the Stanford Invite. Washingtons Nastassja Campbell is the only collegiate woman in the country to clear 4.55m (14-11.00) this season and enters the National Meet tied atop the qualifying list.

Oregons Jorinde van Klinken is the top qualifier to the National Meet in the shot put and discus. The all-time Pac-12 leader is the two-time defending NCAA champion in the discus and looks to secure her first-career outdoor shot put title, having won the NCAA indoor title in the event in 2022. Californias Anna Purchase owns the second-best national mark in the womens hammer this season, going 73.02m (239-7) at the Brutus Hamilton Invite back in April.

Mens Championship Preview
Pac-12 mens programs qualified 63 (55 individuals, eight relays) entries to the NCAA Championships, with representation in all 21 events. Washington leads all Pac-12 squads with 14 entries, posting strong performances at West Prelims following the programs first-ever Pac-12 team title back in May. The Huskies enter the National Meet at No. 8 in the USTFCCCA rankings, behind only No. 7 Stanford in the Pac-12.

Washingtons Brian Fay earned Pac-12 titles in the 5000m and 10,000m this season, with his victory in the 5000m clinching the team victory for the Huskies; Fay is the nations top collegian in the 5k with a time of 13:21.99 set at Bryan Clay in April. Stanfords Charles Hicks was bested by Fay in the 10k at Pac-12s, but maintains the best collegiate time in the nation this year at 27:57.47 set at the Sanford Invite in March.

Cals Mykolas Alekna is the collegiate record holder in the mens discus, posting a monumental launch of 71.00m (232-11) at the Big Meet earlier this season. The Vilnius, Lithuania native seeks his first-career NCAA title after a runner-up performance in 2022.

The Arizona mens 4x100m relay team set a new school record with a time of 38.82, the top qualifying time across both preliminary regions. Elsewhere in the field, USC freshman Elias Gerald is tied atop the mens high jump qualifying list with his mark of 2.17m (7-01.50) from West Prelims while Arizona States Turner Washington is the top qualifier in the mens shot put (20.99m, 68-10.50) and seeks his fifth-career NCAA individual title across shot put and discus in indoor and outdoor competition.
