2023 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. 1 All-Region Teams

SAN FRANCISCO - The 2023 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region Teams were announced Tuesday with 21 from Pac-12 baseball earning honors in the West Region. The teams in the eight regions are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. 1 All-America committee.

Of the 21 Pac-12 selections, 11 were first-team honorees. Stanford led the way with seven award winners, including a league-high five on the West Region First Team. The Cardinal honored on the first team were Drew Dowd , Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year Quinn Mathews , Pac-12 Player of the Year Alberto Rios , Braden Montgomery and Pac-12 Batting Champion Tommy Troy . Reliever Ryan Bruno and Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Malcolm Moore were second team honorees.

Arizona and Oregon had the next highest honorees with four total selections each.

Wildcats Chase Davis and Kiko Romero were tabbed as first-team honorees while Mac Bingham and Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year Nik McClaughry earned second team nods.

All four of the selections for the Pac-12 Tournament Champion Ducks were named to the West Region Second Team with Drew Cowley , Drew Smith , Jace Stoffal and Josh Mollerus earning honors.

Arizona State was represented on the ABCA West Region Team with Ryan Campos and Luke Keaschall both earning first team accolades.

Oregon State's Travis Bazzana and 2023 Pac-12 Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Washington State's Jacob McKeon , each earned West Region First Team honors, while USC saw a pair of pitchers in Caden Aoki and Kyle Wisch pick up second team awards to round it out.

First Team All-Region selections are nominated for ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors. The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I All-America teams will be announced the morning of Friday, June 16 prior to the start of the 2023 NCAA Div. I College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
