Jul 12, 2023

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference has released each school’s league opponents for its 2023-24 women’s basketball season.

Each program will play an 18-game Conference slate, facing seven opponents both home and away and the four other teams once, two at home and two on the road. Specific dates, times and television selections will be announced at a later date.

The Pac-12 is coming off a 2022-23 campaign in which it sent a league record-tying seven teams to the NCAA Tournament and had three advance to the Sweet 16 for the sixth time in the last seven NCAA Tournaments. Pac-12 teams finished with a national-best and Conference-record .852 regular-season, non-conference winning percentage and compiled an NCAA-leading average NET of 40.33.

The Pac-12 led all leagues with six teams ranked in the final Associated Press poll of 2022-23 and tops the nation with six appearing in espnW’s “Way Too Early” Top 25 for the 2023-24 season - No. 4 UCLA, No. 5 Utah, No. 16 Stanford, No. 18 USC, No. 21 Colorado and No. 23 Washington State.

“Pac-12 women’s basketball experienced great success last season and our teams and their fans are eagerly awaiting the year ahead,” said Pac-12 Deputy Commissioner Teresa Gould. “Over the past decade, the dedication of student-athletes, coaches and administrators throughout the Conference has lifted Pac-12 women’s basketball to amazing heights and we cannot wait for what’s in store in 2023-24.”

Since the 2015-16 season, the Pac-12 leads all conferences in regular-season, non-conference winning percentage (.801) and NCAA Tournament winning percentage (.667), and is tied for the national lead in Final Four appearances (7).
