Oregon State opens the 2023-24 season on Monday, squaring off with Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 5:30 p.m.
The Beavers will be the second half of an opening day men's and women's basketball doubleheader with the OSU men's team taking on Linfield at 2:30 p.m.
Fans are reminded that campus parking rules will be in effect until 5 p.m. on Monday and that doors for the women's game may open later than usual as Gill Coliseum is cleared following the men's game.

THE BEAVER STATE'S BEST
Oregon State continued signing Oregon's top talent in the 2023 class, adding guards Donovyn Hunter and Kennedie Shuler. The duo each led their teams to the OSAA 6A State Semifinals last season. Hunter's South Medford squad won the matchup and advanced to the state title game. Both Beavs were named 6A All-State and both earned league player of the year honors in their respective conferences.
DOMINATING DEFENSE
The Beavers have been known for their lockdown D under Scott Rueck. Oregon State has allowed 58.7 points per game over the course of his tenure and has held opponents under 65 points in 70% of its games. The Beavs are 233-62 (.790) when holding the opponent to 65 points or fewer and 195-35 (.844) when holding opponents under 60 in the Rueck Era.
SWEET-SHOOTING SOPHOMORES
Oregon State has long been one of the sweetest shooting teams in the Pac-12, finishing in the top-three in the league in three-point percentage 8 times in the last 10 seasons. After two down seasons from downtown, OSU is poised to be back at the top of the Pac from with three freshmen - Adlee Blacklock (46.5%), Timea Gardiner (36.2%) and Lily Hansford (35.2%) - in a group of six total league freshmen who made at least 35% of their triples in 2022-23 (1.0 3PA/Game, 15+ games played).
