The Pac-12 announced its 12th weekly honors of the 2023-24 men's basketball season as presented by Nextiva and voted on by media who cover the league. See below for this week's recognitions and keep track of the 2023-24 Player of the Year watchlist here:

Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week, presented by Nextiva (1/29/24)    
Jordan Pope, OREGON STATE

  • Averaged 25.0 points on 61 percent shooting (17-28) and 5.5 assists as Oregon State swept No. 9 Arizona and Arizona State at Gill Coliseum.
  • Buried game-winning three as time expired to cap career-best 31-point performance in 83-80 upset of the Wildcats for the Beavers' first AP Top 10 upset since 2015 (#7 Arizona).
  • Shot 9-of-15 from the field, 5-of-8 behind the arc and 8-of-10 at the foul line against Arizona.
  • Posted 19 points on 8-of-13 field goals, six assists and four rebounds in 84-71 win over the Sun Devils.
  • Also named National Player of the Week by ESPN.com and Naismith Trophy.
  • 11th different Player of the Week recipient in 12 weeks so far this season.
  • First Pac-12 Player of the Week honor, fourth career weekly award (3x Pac-12 Freshman of the Week in 2022-23).

Pac-12 Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week, presented by Nextiva (1/29/24)    
Myles Rice, WASHINGTON STATE

  • Averaged 13.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds to help Washington State record a home sweep of Utah and Colorado.
  • Despite a tough shooting night, finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a 79-57 rout of Utah - the Cougars' largest league win over the Runnin' Utes.
  • Limited to just 27 minutes due to foul trouble, scored 12 of his team-high 17 points in the second half to help WSU hold off the Buffaloes, 78-69. Shot 7-of-13 from the floor, including 5-of-8 in the second half.
  • League-leading fourth Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honor, tied for fourth-most in a season since award's inception in 2019-20 (Evan Mobley 7, Harrison Ingram 6, Mouhamed Gueye 5, Amari Bailey/Zeke Nnaji/Isaiah Stewart 4).
