Home Again: Cribby Excited To Lead His Alma Mater Back To Omaha

Since being announced as Washington's Associate Head Coach, Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, Elliott Cribby has hit the ground running and never looked back. Cribby, who played collegiately for the Huskies from 2006 to 2008, joined the staff at his alma mater after one year at Purdue and five years at Seattle U. In his first six months, he has tirelessly worked to put the final touches on the Huskies' 2020 roster while coaching up his new stable of pitchers. In addition, he has assembled one of the nation's top incoming classes for 2021 and is pounding the pavement looking for talent in 2022 and beyond.  

Spencer Jones Earns Win In Team USA Victory

Former Washington pitcher Spencer Jones earned the win for Team USA Baseball as the red, white and blue defeated Chinese Taipei, 3-2, at the Tokyo Dome in the final game of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Premier12 Super Round.

Purple Rallies For 3-1 Win In World Series Opener

Christian Jones homered and Davis Delorefice doubled in two runs to lead a fifth-inning rally for the Purple squad in game one of the Purple and Gold World Series at Husky Ballpark on Friday. Karl Koerper hit a third-inning solo home run to give the Gold team an early one-run lead, but the veteran Purple team had the big inning in the fifth to win the game, 3-1.

Austin Voth Chasing World Series Ring

When the World Series gets started on Tuesday evening, Husky fans will have a rooting interest in MLB's fall classic. Former UW ace right-hander Austin Voth is a second-year member of the Washington Nationals and is in pursuit of becoming the first Husky to win a championship ring since 2014.
