SAN FRANCISCO—The UTAH Utes will represent the Pac-12 South Division in the eighth annual Pac-12 Football Championship Game on Friday, November 30, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. Utah (6-3 in Pac-12 South, 8-3 overall) defeated Colorado, 30-7, earlier in the day, then had to await the outcome of the Arizona State-Oregon game Saturday night. Arizona State entered Saturday’s play controlling its own destiny. If the Sun Devils won their final two games, they would represent the Pac-12 South in the Championship Game. However, Oregon dashed Arizona State’s hopes with a 31-28 victory at Autzen Stadium, lifting Utah to its first-ever Pac-12 Football Championship Game appearance. Utah, which concludes the regular season with a non-conference tilt next Saturday vs. BYU, will meet the winner of next Friday’s Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State. The Pac-12 Football Championship Game will be televised by FOX at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Tickets are available online at Pac-12.com (www.pac-12.com/tickets).
