The Washington Huskies will host their annual Alumnae Game on Sunday, September 15 at 1:00 pm. The game is open to the public as the first chance to see the Huskies in action since last season's Women's College World Series trip. Admission is free for all fans.
Six Huskies earned medals at the recent Pan American Games for softball. Ali Aguilar and assistant coach Lance Glasoe earned gold with Team USA, Danielle Lawrie, Victoria Hayward, and Jenn Salling all earned silver with Team Canada, and Taran Alvelo earned a bronze medal with Team Puerto Rico.
Stanford's efforts in the classroom were recently rewarded as 13 Cardinal were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.
Stanford finished the 2019 season with a 33-20 overall record, including an 8-13 mark in the Pac-12 Conference, and reached its first NCAA Tournament since 2013.
The Washington Huskies added another piece to their 2020 roster, signing infielder Baylee Klingler. Klingler, a high school All-American and 2019 SEC All-Freshman honoree, joins the Huskies after transferring from Texas A&M and will be a sophomore this upcoming season. She is the fifth newcomer to sign with the Huskies, along with Jadelyn Allchin, Hannah Dardano, Kelley Lynch, and Brooke Nelson.
