The Cougars extend their 10-match unbeaten streak against the Huskies with a 1-0 win Friday afternoon in Seattle.
The Washington Huskies came out strong in their first game of the 2019 season but had to settle for a 0-0 tie with the Portland Pilots. The Huskies fired ten shots in the first half alone, only allowing one in that time, but could not get the goal needed for the win.
The Pac-12 Conference announced today the 24 outstanding Pac-12 student-athletes who have been named recipients of Pac-12 Postgraduate Scholarships for the 2018-19 academic year. The scholarships, worth $9,000 each, are awarded to up to two student-athletes from each Pac-12 school annually. These worthy student-athletes maintained a minimum 3.0 grade point average and demonstrated a commitment to education, campus and community involvement, and leadership.

After a full day of practice, weights, and school, anyone would need a place to unwind a bit. For Dani Hansen, that place is the Conibear Shellhouse. The sophomore keeper says it is probably her favorite place on campus, and not just because of the amazing views of Lake Washington and the wetlands.
Pac-12 women’s soccer is back on the pitch on Thursday, Aug. 22 to kick off the 2019 season. Eight Conference teams make their season debut on Thursday, while the remaining squads fill out the weekend with matches on Friday, Aug. 23, Saturday, Aug. 24, and Sunday, Aug. 25th.
