Stanford was recently well represented at the 2018 World Championships, with Ryan Sheppard and Akash Modi successfully competing in their first world championships competition.

Former Cardinal standout Akash Modi earned a spot on the 2018 U.S. World Championships Team, selection committee officials announced Saturday night following a two-day competition during the World Team Selection Camp.

Former Cardinal standouts Akash Modi and Eddie Penev were recently named to the 2018-19 U.S. Senior National team following the conclusion of the U.S. Gymnastics Championships last weekend in Boston.

Stanford was well represented among the 2018 Collegiate Gymnastics Association (CGA) academic awards, earning team and individual honors.

Stanford finished fourth at NCAA Championships with a score of 408.725, closing out another consistent season in which the Cardinal ranked among the nation's elite.

Senior Robert Neff was recently selected to the 2017-18 CoSIDA Academic All-District Men's At-Large first team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
