Pac-12 Softball Scores
The 3 Washington Huskies clinched the first game of their best-of-three Super Regional series with 14 Kentucky, winning 3-0, with Taran Alvelo and Gabbie Plain throwing a combined shutout. Washington scored early once again, taking the lead in the first inning and never looking back. Sami Reynolds drove in the first run of the game, Morganne Flores homered again, and Sis Bates had two hits.
Nine Huskies earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors, including two First Team awards and a Second Team Award. Kaija Gibson and Gabbie Plain were named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team, while Noelle Hee earned All-Academic Second Team. Six Huskies earned Honorable Mention: Taryn Atlee, Sis Bates, Morganne Flores, Emma Helm, Nawai Kaupe, and Amirah Milloy.
The Washington Huskies will host Super Regionals for the third consecutive year this weekend, welcoming the Kentucky Wildcats to Seattle with a trip to the Women's College World Series on the line. Washington reached Super Regionals for the tenth time in the last 11 years after going 3-0 during the Seattle Regionals.
After advancing to Super Regionals for the tenth time in 11 years, the Washington Huskies earned four All-Regional awards for their stellar play at the Seattle Regional. Gabbie Plain, Morganne Flores, Sis Bates, and Madison Huskey were all named All-Regional, with Flores earning the Most Outstanding Player award.
The Washington Huskies advanced to Super Regionals in historic fashion, riding power bats and the sixth postseason no-hitter in program history in an 8-0 win over Mississippi State. Gabbie Plain faced the minimum in the game, her fourth career no-hitter, with just one walk allowed the only blemish.
