SAN FRANCISCO - Following are the 2018 Pac-12 Conference Beach Volleyball All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and appear in at least 50 percent of their team’s games.
STANFORD, Calif. - Four teams remain at the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championship, including top-seeded and top-ranked UCLA, No. 2-seed USC and No. 3-seed CALIFORNIA. No. 6 WASHINGTON played spoiler, recording an upset over host-and No. 4-seed STANFORD to advance to the final day and get a chance to compete for the Pac-12 title.
The nation’s top-ranked team, UCLA was tabbed the No. 1 seed in the third-annual Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championship to be held Thursday-Saturday, April 26-28 on the campus of Stanford University. Seedings were determined by a ranking of the league’s coaches.
