Several Stanford women's rowers are in position to capture medals Sunday at the Under 23 World Rowing Championships.

Martina Vlatkovic and Emily Barber will join the Trojan Family and begin to work with the team this fall.  

Six Cardinal were named to the Under 23 national teams ahead of the U23 World Rowing Championships. Kaitlyn Kynast, Alie Rusher, Chase Shepley and Leigh Warner will race for the U23 USRowing team, Stephanie Grauer will represent Canada, and Meg Saunders will row for Great Britain.

Five members of the Stanford women's rowing program were named to the Division I All-America teams, as announced by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.

Novotnikova is USC's 29th all-time All-America selection and receives the 15th first-team certificate in program history.

Megan Biging, world record holder, former rower for the Women of Troy and former assistant coach, has returned to her alma mater and will begin working with the team this fall.
