LOS ANGELES – The USC baseball 2018 recruiting class continues to draw national accolades after being recently ranked the 16th best in the country by Perfect Game. The No. 16 ranking for the class is the best of any Pac-12 or West Coast team according to Perfect Game.

Marcus Semien (Oakland), Mark Canha (Oakland) and Brandon Morrow (Chicago) are representing Cal baseball in the 2018 MLB postseason.

La Cañada Flintridge is a good distance away from Matt Cheney's hometown of Costa Mesa, but it's the city he and his family now call home. "There's plenty of USC alumni out here and we even know a few former athletes. My kids have played [on sports teams] with the kids of former women's soccer players."

LOS ANGELES – The USC baseball team announced the dates of its two fall games this week, with the Trojans playing at home against San Diego State on October 28 and on the road against San Diego on November 3.

This weekend, USC baseball partnered with Trojan Outreach to build and beautify a local middle school's community garden.
