On Sept. 21, 2019, Stanford celebrated Extra Yard for Teachers Week, in conjunction with the Pac-12 Conference and the CFP Foundation. During their game against Oregon, the Cardinal presented five teachers from the local community each with checks for $2,000, including Aptos Middle School, Ponderosa Elementary, Lakewood Elementary, Barron Park Elementary and Columbia Middle School.
