Pac-12 Football Players of the Week - Week Four

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 today announced its 2020 football season's fourth weekly honors, presented by Nextiva. See below for Week Four's recognitions across the Conference:

OFFENSIVE: Jermar Jefferson, Jr., RB, Oregon State (Harbor City, Calif.)

• Earns the honor for the second-straight week as he led Oregon State to a win over No. 15 Oregon with 226 yards rushing and two touchdowns versus the Ducks. One TD went for 82 yards, a career-long for the junior.
• The 226 yards marked the most ever by an Oregon State or Oregon running back in 124 games between the teams. 
• The 226 yards marked the 11th-most ever by an OSU running back. It was Jefferson's third-best single-game total. 
• Jefferson totaled 134 yards in the first quarter alone.
• He became the first OSU running back to tally four consecutive 100-yard efforts to open a season since Steven Jackson did so in six straight in 2003. 
• Jefferson now has 2,740 rushing yards for his career. That places him fifth in Oregon State's history.
• Jefferson's two scores give him 27 for his career, moving him into sole possession of fifth all-time at OSU. 
• The 200-yard effort marked the third of Jefferson's career.
• He's tied with Ken Simonton for the second-most by an OSU running back, one behind Steven Jackson's four.
• Jefferson has now rushed for 100 or more yards 14 times in his career, also good for sole possession of fifth.

Also nominated: Demetric Felton, RB, UCLA; Austin Jones, RB, Stanford; Jarek Broussard, TB, Colorado; Cade Otton, TE, Washington.

DEFENSIVE: Nate Landman, Sr., ILB, Colorado (Danville, Calif.)

• Earns his second weekly honor, also winning in week two, in CU's 20-10 win over San Diego State. Landman was in on 11 tackles (10 solo) against the Aztecs.
• Those included three quarterback sacks (all on third downs), one other TFL, two tackles for zero (meaning six stops at or behind the line of scrimmage), a pass broken up (on third down--so four total third-down stops) and a touchdown save.
• Walter Camp Football Foundation’s National Defensive Player of the Week, the first defensive Buffalo to earn the honor since CB Terrence Wheatley in 2007.
• Also named as one of 16 semifinalists for the 36th annual Butkus Award on Monday, Nov. 30. Finalists for the award will be announced Monday, Dec. 7 with the winner to be selected on Dec. 22.

Also nominated: Elijah Molden, DB, Washington; Andrzej Hughes-Murray, OLB, Oregon State; Obi Eboh, DB, UCLA; Christian Roland-Wallace, CB, Arizona; Curtis Robinson, ILB, Stanford.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Thomas Booker, Jr., DE, Stanford (Ellicott City, Md.)

• Blocked what would have been the game-tying extra point with 58 seconds remaining (first career blocked kick) in the fourth quarter to essentially seal Stanford's 24-23 victory over California in the 123rd Big Game.
• Also recovered his second career fumble (October 18, 2018, at Arizona State).
• Finished with two tackles and a sack on defense.

Also nominated: Luke Akers, Punter, UCLA; Everett Hayes, PK, Oregon State.

OFFENSIVE LINE: Nathan Eldridge, R-Sr., OL, Oregon State (Anthem, Ariz.)

• Nathan Eldridge helped anchor an offensive line that saw Jermar Jefferson rush for 226 yards and two scores in a win over No. 9 Oregon. 
• Eldridge received a 78.4 overall grade from Pro Football Focus.
• He received an 83.9 mark on run blocking.
• That 83.9 grade from PFF was the highest in the Pac-12 and he was just one of two players at 80 or above.
• Eldridge has started all four games for the Beavers this season at center. 

Also nominated: Sean Rhyan, Offensive Tackle, UCLA; Drew Dalman, C, Stanford.

DEFENSIVE LINE: Zion Tupuola-Fetui, So., OLB (DE), Washington (Pearl City, Hawai'i)

• Tupuola-Fetui earns his third-straight weekly honor after another outstanding night in leading UW to a 24-21, come-from-behind win over Utah.
• After notching two sacks in each of the Huskies' first two games, Tupuola-Fetui had three sacks in the Utah game. 
• He also had six total tackles, his third forced fumble of the season and a fumble recovery, which he returned for 29 yards.
• Tupuola-Fetui leads the nation in sacks (2.33 per game) and is No. 2 in the FBS in forced fumbles (1.0 per game).
• His seven sacks this year are just one short of the highest total (8) any Husky player has recorded in a full season since 2014.

Also nominated: Thomas Schaffer, DE, Stanford.

FRESHMAN: Dylan Morris, R-Fr., QB, Washington (Puyallup, Wash.)

• Morris, the Huskies' redshirt freshman quarterback, earns his second-straight weekly honor after leading UW to a third straight victory in his third start.
• Down 21-0 at halftime, the Huskies came back to beat Utah, 24-21.
• Morris set new career highs with 23 completions and 38 attempts for 272 yards.
• He threw two touchdown passes, both to Cade Otton, including the winning 16-yard with just 36 seconds to go.
• In the second half, Morris was 13-for-20 for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
