Utah softball's Alyssa Barrera has been named Utah's 2021 Female Tom Hansen Award winner. The centerfielder finishes her career in Salt Lake City ranking 6th in hits and games played as a Ute. As a senior this past year, Barrera was a mentor to an Utah team that featured eight freshman. Off the field, Barrera was a three-time was a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic honoree.
