Nowell Selected as the No. 43 Pick in the 2019 NBA Draft

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Sophomore Jaylen Nowell, the reigning Pac-12 Player of the Year, became the second Husky to hear their name called at the 2019 NBA Draft as he was selected as the No. 43 pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round. Nowell joins teammate Matisse Thybulle, who was earlier chosen as the No. 20 pick by the Boston Celtics with a trade proposed to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Thybulle Selected as the No. 20 Pick in the 2019 NBA Draft

 BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The National Defensive Player of the Year and Husky Standout Matisse Thybulle has been selected as the number 20 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics, with a proposed trade to the Philadelphia 76ers. Thybulle was the first Pac-12 Player to have his name called in this year's draft.

J'Raan Brooks Added to UW Roster

SEATTLE – The University of Washington men's basketball program has added USC transfer J'Raan Brooks to its roster, head coach Mike Hopkins announced on Thursday. Brooks will have to sit out a year due to transfer rules and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
