The Utah Runnin' Utes (2-1) tied a school record connecting on 17 three-pointers en route to a 98-63 non-conference home win against Mississippi Valley State (0-4) Thursday evening at the Huntsman Center.

Utah head men's basketball coach Larry Krystkowiak announced Wednesday that three players – Rylan Jones, Matt Van Komen and Mikael Jantunen – have all signed national letters of intent to attend the U and play basketball for the Runnin' Utes beginning in the fall of 2019.

Utah (1-1) is back at home this week to take on the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils (0-2) in a non-conference match-up this Thursday, Nov. 15. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City.

Utah's Sedrick Barefield and Vante Hendrix led the Runnin' Utes with 14 points each, but it was not enough as Utah (1-1) fell to the Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-0) on the road, 79-68, Monday evening at Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minn.

Utah (1-0) will hit the road for the first time this season as it takes on Minnesota (1-0) this Monday, Nov. 12, in Minneapolis, Minn. The Utes and Golden Gophers are set to tip-off from Williams Arena at 8 p.m. CT.
