SEATTLE – The Huskies are back in action after a few weeks at practice as the men's golf team heads to Florida to play in the prestigious 15th annual Tavistock Collegiate Invitational. The 54-hole event begins Sunday, Oct. and plays through Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the par-72, 7,544 yard Isleworth Golf and Country Club in Windemere, Fla.

Oregon came in second at 14 over led by Ryan Gronlund's fourth-place finish in cold and at times snowy conditions in the final round of the Paintbrush Invitational Tuesday.

Oregon is 14 over through the first two rounds of the Paintbrush Invitational as round two was suspended by darkness. Ryan Gronlund is tied for fourth at 3 under for the tournament.

Oregon will travel to Colorado for the Paintbrush Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Colorado Golf Club.

FORT WORTH, Texas – The Huskies finished the prestigious Nike Golf Collegiate Invite on Tuesday posting a 35-over 875 (296-289-290) for a 14th place finish. In a field of nine teams ranked in the top 25 nationally, Washington was led by sophomore Jan Schneider who posted his second-straight top 25 finish as he tied for 23rd.

Edwin Yi shot a 1-under 69 to lead the way as Oregon finished tied for 12th at the Nike Collegiate Invitational.
