Beavers Start Fast in the Desert

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Oregon State Men's Rowing team traveled to the Mojave Desert for the first races of the Spring Season at the Lake Las Vegas Invite. After projected 30 mile per hour winds moved the Sunday races to Saturday, the Beavers started fast to power a productive set of races.

Oregon State Heads to the Desert for First Races of the Spring Season

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State Men's Rowing team heads to the Mojave Desert this weekend for the Lake Las Vegas Invitational. This is the third consecutive year the Beavers have competed in the event and they'll be competing against the University of San Diego, University of California, and Dartmouth College.

Before he was rowing in orange and black he was playing center for his basketball team and playing end on both sides of the football in high school. Tyler Gray may not have started his time in Corvallis as a rower, but once he joined the team he never looked back.

Beaver Depth Powers a Strong Finish to Fall Schedule

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon State men's rowing team closed out its competitive fall season at the Head of the Lake Regatta racing to a second-place finish in the Varsity 8+ and a great push toward the end of the 4+ to put a boat in fourth place in the event.
