SAN FRANCISCO - For the first time since 2000, OREGON has claimed the regular-season title and the top seed at the Pac-12 Womens Basketball Tournament presented by New York Life at KeyArena in Seattle, March 1-4. STANFORD, OREGON STATE and UCLA all claim a top-four seed and a first-round bye. Tickets for the Conferences premiere womens event are still available at Pac-12.com/tickets .

Seattle fans have helped set tournament attendance records in each of the five years it has been held at KeyArena, providing a dynamic atmosphere. Single-session tickets can be purchased at Pac-12.com/tickets and start at just $15 each (additional fees may apply). The No. 8/7 Ducks (16-2) have had a remarkable season that includes clinching its first-ever No. 1 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament. Picked to finish in a tie for second place by the leagues coaches in the preseason, it is only the second time in the tournament the Ducks have earned a top-four seed in the event, which started in 2002, earning the No. 2 seed in 2005.

The 12-team tournament tips off with eighth-seeded UTAH (8-10) facing ninth-seeded COLORADO (5-13) in the first round. Fifth-seeded CALIFORNIA (11-7) faces 12th-seeded WASHINGTON (1-17) in the second game of the day in a rematch of the final game of the regular season.

The evening session begins with seventh-seeded USC (9-9) taking on 10th-seeded WASHINGTON STATE (3-14). Under the direction of Mark Trakh who has come back for his second stint with the Trojans, USC is a NCAA Tournament team contender. The second game of the evening session pits traditional rivals sixth-seeded ARIZONA STATE (10-8), also a team looking to boost its postseason resume, and 11th-seeded ARIZONA (2-16).

The top-four seeds begin their postseason action on Friday, the Ducks facing the winner of the Utah-Colorado game, followed by fourth-seeded UCLA (14-4) taking on the winner of the Cal-UW game to close out the afternoon session. The evening session features second-seeded Stanford (14-3) versus the USC-WSU winner, and third-seeded Oregon State (14-4) closing out the day against ASU or Arizona. The Beavs faced both teams in the final weekend of the regular season.

Games tip off on Thursday and Friday at 11:30 a.m. with four games on each of the days. The semifinal games on Saturday, March 4 are slated for 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The first 10 games of the tournament will be televised on the Conferences Pac-12 Network. The champion will be crowned during the final game on Sunday, March 5 and will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

The city of Seattle and KeyArena is host to the Pac-12 Womens Basketball Tournament for the fourth-consecutive year. KeyArena is home to two-time WNBA Champion Seattle Storm.
