MEDINAH, Ill.
Danique Stokmans and Kelsey Webster both carded a 1-under 71 to lead the Oregon State women's golf team in the final round of the Illini Women's Invitational on Tuesday.
The Beavers concluded their second tournament of the fall with a tie for 11th place after posting a 4-under 287-284-289--860 at the par-72, 6,166-yard Medinah Country Club Course #2.
Stokmans shot in red figures all three rounds to help her finish in a tie for 16th place with a 6-under 68-71-71--210. The 6-under 210 is the best three-round score of her career, bettering the 4-under 215 she had at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview last fall.
The redshirt sophomore now has four Top 20 finishes, including two in the Top 10, in her 10 collegiate events. Stokmans has fired nine sub-par scores in her 30 career rounds.
Webster birdied three of her first eight holes and finished the round with 10 consecutive pars to shoot a 1-under 71 and climb 11 spots up the leaderboard and into a tie for 40th place with an even-par 72-73-71--216.
She has carded seven scores in red figures in her one-plus year as a Beaver after transferring from the University of Colorado prior to the 2021-22 season.
True freshman Kyra Ly was the second-highest Oregon State golfer on the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 35th place with a 1-under 72-69-74--215. The 3-under 69 in the second round was her best score as a collegian. She finished in a tie for 36th place in the first tourney of the fall, the USF Intercollegiate.
Amanda Minni finished in a tie for 58th place with a 3-over 75-71-73--219 and Chayse Gomez finished in 80th with a 13-over 78-75-76--229.

Stokmans led all 84 players with three eagles and a scoring average of 4.17 on the par-5's. Ly led the Beavers with 13 birdies in the three rounds.
Kentucky won the 15-team event with a 34-under 830 and Jenny Bae of Georgia claimed medalist honors with a 16-under 200.
