SAN FRANCISCO
- The bracket for the inaugural 2022 Pac-12 Baseball Tournament is set with STANFORD claiming the No. 1 seed. The tournament gets under way on Wednesday, May 25 at Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Stanford, ranked No. 4 in the country by the USA Today Coaches Poll, finished the regular season by winning their final 12 games. It's the first Pac-12 regular-season title for the Cardinal since 2018.
No. 2-ranked OREGON STATE clinched the No. 2 seed in the tournament on Saturday with a 9-3 win over No. 23-ranked UCLA. The Bruins had won the first two games of the series in Corvallis to make Saturday's game a battle for the No. 2 seed. UCLA will be the No. 3 seed.
OREGON swept a three-game series with ARIZONA this week in Eugene to claim the No. 4 seed. Their opponent in the first-ever game in the Pac-12 Tournament will be those same Wildcats, who will be the No. 5 seed.
CALIFORNIA was the final team to earn a spot in the tournament but their sweep of Utah this weekend moved them all the way up to the No. 6 seed. No. 7 WASHINGTON and No. 8 ARIZONA STATE round out the bracket.
Every game will be televised with Pac-12 Networks the home for all games Wednesday through Saturday. On Sunday, the first-ever Pac-12 Tournament Championship Game will air on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. PT.
